Starting at ACU

Whether you’re starting your first degree, or returning to study after some time away, Orientation is about getting prepared so you can get the most out of your studies.

Get prepared for your best start to university life by accessing onboarding information and registering for our Orientation programs. You can register for a range of genuinely helpful information sessions during February 2023. You can also access your essential getting started at ACU resources via the ACU Orientation website to ensure you’re best start to your ACU journey.

Getting Started at ACU activities begin the week of Monday 13 February and will help you be best prepared for university. This day will provide essential information to help students get started. It will include a series of sessions designed to boost students’ self-confidence in how to navigate their university journey at ACU. The program aims to helps students get a better understanding of common academic challenges experienced throughout the first year. It offers a space to connect with peers and staff and introduces students to the skills needed to be successful.

ACU Welcome Fairs will take place on all campuses in the week of Monday 20 February 2023. Grab a welcome bag as you enter, meet other new and current students, student leaders, friendly staff and a free lunch while you explore the campus on a guided tour.
